Dispute of a resident of the Ivanovo region with “Ivenergo” will be considered in arbitration

Proceedings related to the cost of technological connection to the power grid, moved from the district court to the Arbitration Court of the Ivanovo region.

The reason for the dispute was the complaint of a local resident against Ivenergo. The man considered that the company indicated in the notice of connection the inflated cost of work, and then turned to Rospotrebnadzor. However, the department did not initiate a case.

An attempt to challenge this decision in the Frunze District Court also failed. The applicant then appealed to the regional court.

The appellate court concluded that the dispute belongs to the category of cases related to the business activities of the company, and therefore should be considered by an arbitration court. The decision of the district court was canceled, and the materials were sent to the Arbitration Court of the Ivanovo region.
