From October 21 to October 23, two students worked as couriers for phone scammers. They deceived an elderly woman by frightening her with a false accusation of funding foreign armed forces and took 30 million rubles from her.
The prosecutor's office recognized the initiation of the case as lawful and monitors the progress of the investigation.
