Judge of Kominternovsky district court of Voronezh was brought to disciplinary responsibility
The meeting of the qualification board of judges of the Voronezh region was held on September 16

The meeting of the qualification board of judges of the Voronezh region was held on September 16. One of the issues considered was the appeal of the regional council of judges against Neil Zhuravlev, who holds a position in the Kominternovsky district court. The board agreed with the appeal and decided to bring the judge to disciplinary responsibility.
The reasons for the appeal are not publicly disclosed. Zhuravlev has been working as a judge of the Kominternovsky District Court since March 2020.
The issue was not considered on the first attempt. Initially, the meeting was to be held on July 29, but the CCC postponed it to a later date. As a result, the appeal of the regional council of judges was considered at a meeting on September 16.
Also on the agenda of the CCS were statements on the termination of the powers of three judges. On two of them, the board made positive decisions. Elena Yurchenko will complete work in the Voronezh Regional Court from October 1. Svetlana Kalugina will resign as a judge of the same court and will resign on October 30.
