Three rescuers in Chuvashia qualified divers

Three employees of the republican search and rescue service were trained and became divers. The preparation took place at the Voronezh Diving School named after Hero of the Soviet Union M. I. Avramenko. The expenses were paid from the republican budget.

As reported in the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Chuvashia, practical exercises were as close as possible to real rescue operations. Rescuers practiced descents into a well 14 meters deep with almost zero visibility, examined a flooded helicopter, a car and a small vessel. They also mastered the work with ground washing equipment and various types of diving equipment.

As a result of the training, all three received qualification certificates and gratitude for good preparation and discipline.

Now in the search and rescue service of Chuvashia there are 18 rescuers-divers.
