According to the Unified Interdepartmental Information and Statistical System (EMISS), the cost of the minimum set of food products in the Tula region in September 2026 was set at 6,904 rubles 16 kopecks. Compared to August, it fell by 211 rubles 49 kopecks, and in relation to July – immediately by 423 rubles.
Note that during the year the cost of such a set behaves naturally: it grows by summer, and by autumn and winter it drops. So, at the end of 2025, the basic food basket in the Tula region cost only 6,603 rubles. In 2026, the threshold of seven thousand rubles was first taken only in June - and by September again retreated.
The minimum set of products is a list of 33 items approved by Rosstat. It includes, in particular, meat, fish, cereals, bread, fruits and vegetables, as well as sweets. When calculating its cost, take the average prices of a particular region and uniform consumption standards for all subjects of the country.
Below seven thousand rubles monthly “food minimum” in September was not only in the Tula region: it is cheaper in the Belgorod, Lipetsk and Orel regions. For comparison: in Moscow, the same set will cost 9,253 rubles.
If necessary, I can supplement the material with a table of changes in value from 2024 or a comparison with neighboring regions.
