Volgograd pensioner found a live tick, disguised as a mole
Elderly Volgograd woman suspected oncology, but the reason for the rapidly growing mole was a tick

The 75-year-old came to see a dermatologist with a complaint about a mole on her back, which she said had increased in a matter of days. The patient was seriously afraid of cancer.
Doctors of the regional skin and venereological dispensary conducted an examination and digital dermatoscopy - they found a living tick. The parasite was removed and sent for examination to the laboratory of the Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology. The woman was reassured and released home.
The dispensary noted that the patient's anxiety was justified: seborrheic keratoma is a benign formation, but in rare cases squamous cell atypia can develop in it.
Doctors advise you to seek immediate help if the tumor grows rapidly, changes color or shape, bleeds, itches or hurts.
