Pupils of the Kony-Kolodez school mastered work with a grain moisture meter

The students of the 9th and 10th grades of the Kony-Kolodez school tried themselves as agronomists. At a lesson in the local agrarian technical school, schoolchildren learned to determine the humidity of grain with the help of special devices, the district newspaper Donskaya Pravda reports.

Teacher of special disciplines Vasily Holev showed the children how to use a moisture meter. Then the students independently measured the humidity of several types of crops. They found that for an accurate result, it is important to work correctly with the device and take into account the established norms.

Humidity control is necessary for harvesting, drying and storage of grain. These tasks are faced by specialists of the agricultural industry, including agronomists.

The lesson was held within the framework of the project “Ticket to the Future”, which helps schoolchildren to get acquainted with different professions and choose a future specialty.
