Scientists have found that can reduce the risk of dementia
Well-developed logical thinking in adolescence may be associated with a lower risk of dementia in the future

Well-developed logical thinking in adolescence may be associated with a lower risk of dementia in the future. This conclusion was made by scientists who observed the health of more than 10 thousand people for about 60 years. The study was published in Alzheimer's Research & Therapy.
The researchers analyzed data from 10,539 people in Sweden who, at the age of 13, took tests on logical thinking, as well as verbal and spatial abilities. The most significant indicator was inductive thinking – the ability to identify patterns and draw conclusions on their basis.
Each additional score on the inductive thinking test was associated with about a two percent reduction in dementia risk in subsequent years, according to the researchers. This association persisted after accounting for the participants’ and their parents’ education levels, as well as the presence of cardiovascular disease and diabetes.
The authors stressed that the study does not prove a causal relationship. However, the findings suggest a possible link between cognitive development in adolescence and brain health later in life.
It became known non-obvious factor of memory impairment.
The ability of one color to cleanse the brain during sleep is revealed.
