Pavel Polyachenko became Honored Coach of the RSFSR in 1989. He raised several generations of champions of Russia, Europe and the world. In 2000, the sports community called him one of the best coaches in the city. Until the last days, Pavel Polyachenko trained pupils at the Comprehensive School of Higher Sports Skills.
Note that from 1975 to 1988 Pavel Polyachenko worked as a senior coach and deputy head of the city shooting club DOSAAF in Leningrad. Since 1979 he has coached the youth team.
