Alexander Tsai noted that during the summer health campaign, due attention was paid to the organization of labor and recreation camps. There rested about 16 thousand children.
“This is more than last year. The children tried their hand at a new profession and got their own money. For example, in Minsk in such camps, children earned 900 or even 1000 rubles for 15 days of stay. This is a lot, said the deputy director of the center.
According to him, the camps of military-patriotic profile on the basis of military units were also popular. “As a rule, children in socially dangerous situations, those with whom juvenile inspections carry out individual preventive work, were sent there. More than 22,000 children have visited camps of this type, Tsai said.
“It can be stated that the summer health campaign took place without emergencies and incidents. All the children who wanted to have health and rest in educational and recreational and sports camps, the deputy director of the center added.
