Penza families told what can be deprived of a single allowance

A single allowance for children under 17 years old is received by families with low incomes. However, losing this support is not only due to higher wages. Lawyer Oksana Vasilyeva in an interview with Komsomolskaya Pravda listed the main reasons for the refusal.

The first is the zero income rule. All adult family members should have an official income or a good reason for his absence: caring for a baby up to three years old, looking after a disabled person of the first group or an elderly person over 80 years old. This includes full-time education up to 23 years, military service, long-term treatment and the status of a single parent. If a person simply does not want to work, payment will not be given. The exception is those who are on the labor market and actively looking for work.

The second is a real estate surplus. You can have one apartment or several, but for each member of the family accounted for no more than 24 square meters. With houses similar: the limit is 40 square meters per person. Houses that are designed as housing are also taken into account. In addition, the family will lose the benefit if it has a plot of more than 0.25 hectares in the city or more than 1 hectare in the countryside.

The third is unnecessary transportation. It is allowed to own one car and one garage. If there is a second car in the family, the payment will stop. However, if the benefit is already assigned for a year, it will not disappear instantly. New property will be noticed only when applying for the next period.

There are other reasons to stop paying. The benefit ceases to be paid when the child turns 17 or the year for which he was appointed ends. When moving to another region, you need to re-register. They will also dispose of those who submit false or incomplete information.

If the parent was deprived of parental rights, the child was taken to an orphanage or under guardianship, the adoption was canceled - the allowance is also terminated. Issued on the mother, but after the divorce, the child lives with the father - the mother loses the payment, it is necessary to issue it on the father.

They will also refuse those who are wanted, serving time or being treated for drug addiction, alcoholism or mental disorder. Payment is terminated in the event of the death of the recipient or child.

That's what income counts. Everyone who lives together is counted: spouses, children, parents, guardians. Income includes salary, bonuses, money from business, pensions, scholarships, alimony, benefits, rental income, interest on deposits and dividends.

How much they pay. The basic size is 50 percent of the regional subsistence minimum per child. The national average is about 9,185 rubles. If the income with this amount is still below the minimum, the benefit will be raised to 75 percent (about 13,778 rubles). If this is not enough – up to 100 percent (18,371 rubles).
