The concept of the embankment, called “Fun”, was recognized as the best at the anniversary competition of the Ministry of Construction of the Russian Federation

In the village of Anna of the Voronezh region, the creation of the Baryatinskaya embankment is nearing the final. The project provides for the organization of a recreation area near the water: there will be stairs and paths with ramps, gazebos, walking trails, architectural objects and landscaping. The progress of the work was examined by architects and the management of the Normative Design Center. This was reported on October 27 in the regional Ministry of architecture and urban planning.
The concept of the embankment, called “Funny”, was recognized as the best at the anniversary competition of the Ministry of Construction of the Russian Federation. Its main idea is associated with the Anninsky filling: the image of ice cream is planned to be reflected in the architectural appearance of the space. The contracting organization was determined at the end of March, the cost of work is 100 million rubles.
Anninsk ice cream is perceived as a local symbol of warmth, comfort and childhood. Therefore, pastel shades and bright accents are used in the design, and small architectural forms resemble a melted Eskimo. According to the authors, this approach will allow to inscribe a new space in the natural landscape and make it recognizable.
Head of SPC Yulia Shalygina and Deputy Head for Urban Planning Anna Fedorova stressed that the project was developed taking into account the opinion of residents. Before the work began, specialists from architects to economists conducted research and meetings with local residents to understand what they want to see this area.
According to representatives of the SPC, the embankment has great potential, and they expect that after the transformation it will become a new point of development of Anna - a place for meetings, communication, holidays and recreation. It is also hoped that the renovated space will interest tourists from other regions and serve as an example of careful renovation of the territory based on local traditions and values.
