The prosecutor’s office of the Bekovsky district of the Penza region checked compliance with the legislation on drug provision. It turned out that a 7-year-old child with a rare disease for medical reasons needs an expensive drug, but he was not provided with free medicine in a timely manner.

The supervisory authority made a proposal to eliminate violations. After the intervention of the prosecutor's office, the rights of the minor were restored: he received the necessary medical treatment. The prosecutor’s office stressed that control over the provision of children with preferential medicines continues.
