New rules for the movement of large and heavy vehicles began to operate in Belarus

In Belarus, on September 19, new rules for the movement of large and heavy vehicles began to operate. The innovations are fixed by the resolution of the Council of Ministers No. 413 of August 14, 2026 “On the procedure for participation in road traffic of heavy and (or) large-sized vehicles”. The document clarifies the norms of the instructions approved by the Ministry of Transport No. 50 of August 25, 2011. The changes affect only transport, the movement of which on public roads, road structures on them and the streets of settlements is allowed by special permission. It is issued by RUE "Beldorcenter" to business entities in accordance with the legislation on administrative procedures.

The resolution, in particular, clarified and supplemented the list of goods allowed for transportation without division into parts. It specified the requirements for a cover vehicle when escorting transport. The document fixed the possibility of filing a preliminary application in electronic form through the software and hardware of the enterprise PS "SUVSR". He also listed the duties of the driver, crew members of cover and escort vehicles, including interaction with each other. In addition, the owner (user) is obliged to appoint a responsible person for access to traffic on roads.
