In the Bryansk region are expected magnetic storms in the coming days
While experts predict storms of weak and medium strength.

In the Bryansk region in the coming days, magnetic storms are possible due to a large coronal hole on the Sun. According to the preliminary forecast, geomagnetic disturbances will begin on the night of November 6-7 and will initially be weak.
According to the Laboratory of Solar Astronomy IKI RAS, the Sun also increased flare activity. During the day, the activity index increased from 2 to 5 points on a ten-point scale. The series of outbreaks began with an M3.6 class event, the most powerful since October 10. It occurred in one of the star’s major active regions.
Scientists note the appearance of flares in the region of the eastern edge of the Sun, from where another active region may emerge. If activity continues to increase, it could affect the strength of the geomagnetic disturbances.
The main cause of the expected magnetic storms will be a large coronal hole about a million kilometers in size. The stream of fast solar wind from it can affect the magnetic field of the Earth for five to seven days. The following disturbances are tentatively possible on November 8.
While experts predict storms of weak and medium strength. However, with a further increase in flare activity, their intensity may increase. A more accurate picture should be clarified in the next one or two days.
