In Dagestan extended the arrest of the accused of possession of weapons and ammunition

The Untsukul district court extended the arrest of the accused of illegal trafficking in weapons and ammunition (part 1 of Article 222 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), the joint press service of the courts of Dagestan reports.

From the materials of the case, it follows that during a search in the house of a local resident, law enforcement officers found and seized a homemade pistol-revolver of 5.6 mm caliber, suitable for shooting sports and hunting cartridges, and 10 cartridges of 7.62 mm industrial caliber, intended for a Kalashnikov assault rifle.

The court granted the request of the investigation and extended the defendant's preventive measure in the form of detention for 20 days - until October 26, 2026 inclusive.
