In the village of Altukhovka burned three building houses

At night at the second hour, the duty unit received a message about a fire at the construction site of apartment buildings in the village of Altukhovka of the Smolensk municipal district. Firefighters of the 7th fire and rescue unit arrived at the call after 12 minutes, having covered a distance of 4 kilometers to the object.

By the time the rescuers arrived, the flames that broke out in one of the all-metal wagons had already spread to two neighboring ones. By the forces of six personnel of 7 PSG and the regional HR-71, with the support of two tanker trucks, further spread of fire was stopped. As a result of the incident, three houses completely burned out from the inside throughout the square. At the time of the fire, there was no one on the construction site, without victims.

According to the preliminary version of the employee of the state fire supervision, the cause of the incident was the emergency mode of operation of the power grid. In one of the trailers, a heater worked, and a violation of the rules for the device and operation of electrical equipment could lead to an emergency. The exact circumstances of the incident are now being established.

The Emergencies Ministry of Russia recalls the importance of monitoring the serviceability of electrical wiring, the prohibition to leave on devices unattended and overload the power grid.
