In the Dukhovshchi district completed road repair work

As part of the implementation of the national project “Infrastructure for Life”, the renewal of the section of the highway connecting Vityaz, Dukhovshchina, White and Nelidovo was completed. The modernization affected a key transport corridor that provides reliable communication between the settlements of the region.

For 4.3 kilometers, road services performed a full range of restoration works. Specialists laid two layers of asphalt pavement, strengthened the roadsides, and also applied a new road marking and installed all the necessary signs to ensure traffic safety.

This modernization allows to significantly increase the capacity and overall level of security in this direction. Systematic work within the framework of the national project contributes to the systematic bringing into the regulatory state of the most popular road routes. As a result, local residents and transit traffic participants received a modern and comfortable road infrastructure, which will have a positive impact on transport accessibility and the economy of the surrounding territories.
