In Dzerzhinsk are the regional “Dazhynki-2026”: learned how the city was transformed to the holiday

Today in Dzerzhinsk is the regional festival-fair of workers of the village of Minsk region "Dazhynki-2026". By the holiday, the city has acquired a new look, reports the correspondent sb.by.

The central square has expanded by almost half. It is lined with a unique pattern of tiles in the form of giant ears, symbolizing the grain-growing region, and is equipped with modern 20-meter light towers. Added here and the future favorite place of rest for children – interactive pedestrian fountain. The City Square and the Central Children's Park have been completely reconstructed and combined into a large-scale park space with new pedestrian routes, attractions and locations. At the city stadium, the stands have been updated, modern covering has been laid, the asphalt base of the treadmills has been replaced.

In Dzerzhinsk, 37 apartment buildings, 7 courtyard complexes, 20 kilometers of street and road network were repaired. Modern stop pavilions appeared, the first charging stations for electric vehicles were installed.

A large-scale campaign to upgrade the social infrastructure has covered the entire district, from schools and kindergartens to hospitals and sports facilities. 12 educational institutions, 9 cultural objects, 2 health care institutions and 2 sports facilities were repaired.

Within the framework of the festival-fair, exhibitions, fairs of folk crafts and master classes are traditionally organized. Only the trade zone, which has 120 facilities, occupies 1.5 kilometers. The festive mood is created by professional artists and amateur groups of the Minsk region.
