Under the leadership of Interior Minister Ivan Kubrakov, the second day of complex command and staff exercises of the Gomel region Internal Affairs Department is being held. This was reported in the press service of the interior Ministry, writes sb.by.

Similar trainings, the purpose of which is to check the readiness of the personnel of the internal affairs bodies and internal troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs to perform tasks in special conditions, have already taken place in other regions of the country.

The event is also attended by Deputy Minister - Commander of Internal Troops Nikolai Karpenkov, chiefs of the police and regional police, heads of regional units of law enforcement agencies and state bodies.

Addressing those present, Ivan Kubrakov stressed the need for an established and prompt information exchange between interested parties. Interaction should be organized in such a way as to exclude the emergence of any questions.

- It is necessary to work out the issue so that we can take certain decisions without the sanction of the prosecutor when acting in special circumstances. To do this, the powers of the ESH leaders should be expanded. It is important to take into account all legal aspects, he said. The priority is proper prevention in enterprises: people should not be drawn into a destructive movement.

Also, the Minister of Internal Affairs instructed to work out a catering mechanism for units transferred to the barracks.
