In Ivanovo discussed the career guidance of schoolchildren
In the Ivanovo region held a visiting meeting of the Commission of the regional Duma on education

In the Ivanovo region held a visiting meeting of the Commission of the regional Duma on education. The main topic of discussion was the implementation of a single model of career guidance in schools in the region. The meeting was held by the chairman of the education commission Anna Vlasova.
Opening the event, the speaker of the regional Duma Marina Dmitrieva noted that the career guidance of schoolchildren is directly related to the future of the Ivanovo region.
Anna Vlasova stressed that the meeting was held at the Ivanovo Center for Advanced Professional Training not by chance. It is this center that coordinates all activities for vocational guidance of schoolchildren.
Director of the Regional Department of Education and Science Anton Khapalov spoke about how the unified model of career guidance works in the education system of the region. The world of professions is constantly changing: new specialties related to digital technologies, ecology and biotechnology are emerging. Career guidance helps students understand this diversity, understand what skills will be in demand, and make an informed choice.
Anton Khapalov reminded that the unified model of career guidance is a system of work with students of grades 6-11, which since September 1, 2023 operates in all schools of the country. Its goal is to help schoolchildren determine their profession, taking into account their interests, abilities and needs of the labor market. The model is implemented with the support of the Ministry of Education of Russia, and the federal operator is the Ticket to the Future project.
According to the head of the department, a systematic approach is already yielding results. Over the past academic year, more than a thousand schoolchildren passed professional tests, more than seven thousand visited excursions to enterprises, and more than one and a half thousand took part in master classes. In total, more than 31 thousand pupils of grades 6-11 participate in the events of the unified model in 2026.
