Public hearings on development programs ended at Kalmyk University

B.B. Gorodovikov Kalmyk State University completed public hearings on the development programs of faculties and institutes until 2030.

According to the development program of KalmSU for 2025-2036, the strategic goal is: leadership in the field of food security, combating desertification and promoting Russian influence in the Turko-Mongolian world. The main task of the faculties is to determine what directions, priorities and implementation mechanisms they offer to achieve this goal.

The next stage is the preparation of a single draft development program of KalmSU, which will include proposals and ideas voiced by the faculties.

Rector Badma Salayev stressed that the proposals concerning the Oriental direction, tourism and problems with desertification require detailed elaboration. Development programs are expected to be completed by the end of the year.
