In Kalmykia held an interregional tournament in chemistry

Teachers of the Department of Bioecology and Chemical Technology of the University of Kalmykia were experts in the interregional chemical tournament.

The competition was held on the basis of the Elista Center for Gifted Children among eight teams. Schoolchildren Elista, Gorodovikovsk and districts participated.

A chemical tournament is not the usual test or test Olympiad. It's a team competition where there's no single answer known in advance. The main thing here is non-standard problem solving. Young chemists demonstrated a deep knowledge of the subject. They solved complex scientific problems and defended their ideas to experts.

The jury of the tournament was attended by the main organizer of the Interregional Chemical Tournament in the North-Western Federal District Kirill Gritsko.
