In Kaluga, the driver lost his license after hitting a pedestrian

The Kaluga regional court upheld the punishment for a motorist who hit a pedestrian and caused him harm to the health of moderate severity.

The accident occurred in March 2026 at an unregulated intersection. When turning to the left, the driver did not give way to a person crossing the carriageway at a pedestrian crossing.

The district court deprived the driver of the license for a year and a half. The man tried to appeal the decision and asked to replace the deprivation of rights with a fine. However, the regional court did not find grounds for mitigating the punishment, pointing to a gross traffic violation and the danger of what happened.

The ruling has entered into legal force.

As told earlier “MK in Kaluga”, in Lyudinov driver with a false license went on the run.
