In Karachay-Cherkessia opened “Batalpashy readings – 2026”

In the State Philharmonic of Karachay-Cherkessia, the All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference "Batalpashin Readings - 2026" was launched. The forum was timed to the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia, the Year of Spiritual and Cultural Heritage of the Peoples of Karachay-Cherkessia and the 15th anniversary of the Pyatigorsk and Cherkessian Diocese.

The conference is held with the support of the Head of the KCR Rashid Temrezov and brings together leading experts in the field of history, culture and interethnic relations. The conference is attended by leading historians, ethnographers, philologists and psychologists from scientific and educational centers of Russia, near and far abroad, as well as teachers, cultural figures, representatives of public organizations and clergy, students and students.

Participants of the readings discuss the traditions of interethnic and interfaith harmony, patriotic education of young people, preservation of the cultural heritage of the peoples of Russia and the development of a single cultural space of the country. Thematic sections on the history and ethnography of the peoples of the Caucasus, the formation of a culture of interethnic communication, as well as a youth scientific platform.
