In Khakassia, 19 people became honorary donors

On September 22, the Republican Blood Center hosted the ceremony of presenting certificates and badges “Honorary Donor of Russia”. 19 residents of Khakassia of different professions and ages received the new title.

Certificates and signs were presented by the chief doctor of the Republican Blood Center Gennady Rusakov. Another 25 donors received commemorative badges of the Russian Red Cross “For regular donation”. They are awarded for eight donations.

The Russian Red Cross has updated its motivational program. Now donors can accumulate donations at a convenient pace, and donations of blood components are taken into account: two such procedures are equated to one donation of whole blood. To receive a badge for eight donations, you can take into account changes made in any years, including before the launch of the program.

After eight donations, the following award levels are provided - for 10, 15 and 20 donations. To receive the next icon, you need to have the previous one. After the presentation of a new sign, the countdown of donations begins again. All badges received before the change of position remain valid.

The awards of the Russian Red Cross do not give federal or regional benefits and cash payments. They are a sign of public recognition of regular donation.

Currently, 2,342 Honorary Donors of Russia are registered in Khakassia. Of these, 810 live in Abakan.
