The contractor laid almost 5,000 square meters of footpaths, mounted fresh side stones and placed new small architectural forms.

Immediately after the construction activities in the public space, the renewal of the green fund began.

On Friday, September 18, experts planted the first 12 seedlings. According to the head of the city administration Vyacheslav Simakov, by the end of October this year, a total of 180 young plants are planned to be rooted in the park.

City authorities strive to form an array of healthy and safe trees, so oaks, maples, pines, spruce, birch, willows, ash trees, linden trees and hawthorn were chosen for planting.

The environmental action was joined by employees of the Improvement Directorate, the Department of Urban Economy, the territorial administration for the Oktyabrsky district and representatives of JSC "Gordormoststroy".

Active assistance to adults was provided by students of gymnasium No. 46, who were the first to plant decorative shrubs.

Over the next week, landscapers will decorate areas along the footpaths with another 386 shrubs.
