In Kostroma police supported the widows of dead comrades

On the Day of Remembrance of Internal Affairs Officers who died in the line of duty, the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Kostroma region held a memorable meeting with the families of the fallen comrades.

Caring for the families of those who gave their lives for the safety of citizens is an honorable mission and a priority for the department. Since 1930, 54 police officers have died in the region in the line of duty, 11 of whom were awarded state awards posthumously.

As part of the event, the deputy head of the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs, personnel officers and widows of law enforcement officers visited the lithium for the dead, after which they laid flowers at the memorial in the management building.

In an informal atmosphere, representatives of the veteran organization talked with families, discussed the solution of pressing issues and congratulated the guests on the upcoming Day of the Internal Affairs Officer.
