In Kovrov judged the organizers of the theft of 172 million rubles at the construction site in Dobrograd

A large-scale project for the development of the city of Dobrograd is acquiring new criminal cases. In the Kovrov city court transferred the case of theft of 172 million rubles allocated for the construction of engineering networks.

The investigation established that in 2022, the state-owned enterprise DSU-3 signed a contract with TK-Leader for 215 million rubles. For this money, the contractor had to build roads, water and lighting in the new city, receiving an advance of $ 172 million.

However, as prosecutors found out, two actual leaders of TC-Leader (residents of Moscow and the Smolensk region) used the withdrawal scheme. They controlled the director of the company and forced him to transfer the advance to the accounts of other companies, allegedly for the supply of materials. In fact, the money went to pay off personal debts and third-party projects. In particular, 300 thousand rubles were spent on the descent, lifting and parking of the personal yacht of one of the defendants.

The work in Dobrograd eventually had to be reworked by another organization, and the accused now face up to 10 years in prison under the article on fraud on an especially large scale.
