In Krasnodar, the second stage of the Border Guard Park was improved

In Krasnodar, the improvement of the second stage of the Border Guard Square in the area of V. N. Machuga and Ignatov streets was completed. There were made paths and lighting, installed chess tables and benches, and also planted trees. This was reported in the press service of the Krasnodar administration.

After the completion of the improvement, the territory was inspected by State Duma deputy Igor Bragarnik, deputy head of the city Maxim Onishchenko and the head of the Karasun district Nikolai Khropov.

In the second stage of the square, pedestrian paths were equipped, benches and urns were put up, as well as chess tables. More than 60 trees, about 300 shrubs, perennial plants were planted here, a lawn was sown and an auto-irrigation system was installed.

For convenience and safety, 71 park lights and video surveillance cameras were installed on the territory. The total area of improvement was about 10 thousand square meters.

Maxim Onishchenko noted that the new square appeared on the initiative of the Krasnodar residents and thanks to their participation in the rating vote. Igor Bragarnik stressed that such projects make the urban environment more comfortable for residents of different ages.

The first stage of the Border Guards Square was landscaped in 2019. Then on the area of 2.4 hectares there were sports and playgrounds, paths, benches, lighting, as well as additional trees and shrubs. Work on the second stage was carried out under the federal project “Formation of a comfortable urban environment” of the national project “Infrastructure for life”.
