In the Leningrad region proposed to raise the minimum wage to 29.3 thousand rubles in 2027

At the public hearings on the draft budget of the Leningrad region for 2027, the improvement of key social indicators was discussed. The head of the Finance Committee Roman Markov said that the minimum wage can reach 29 305 rubles, and the subsistence minimum for working citizens – 23 591 rubles. This was reported by Online47.ru.

Both indicators are planned to be indexed by 6.8% compared to 2026. For comparison: at the federal level, the minimum wage in 2027 is projected at around 28,935 rubles.

We expect for 2027 the minimum wage in the Leningrad region in the amount of 29,305 rubles - an increase of 6.8% by 2026. The subsistence minimum for the working-age population will be 23,591 rubles, also with an increase of 6.8%, said Roman Markov.

The implementation of the initiative will require additional injections from the consolidated budget. To increase wages will need 1.07 billion rubles, and to ensure a new subsistence minimum — another 1.54 billion. Deputies note that when drafting the main financial document, economic difficulties were taken into account: a decrease in the growth rate of companies’ profits and a reduction in tax revenues.
