In the Ministry of transport recorded a significant number of violations during the passage of heavy transport

First Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications Grigory Glazko held a working meeting on systemic violations by owners of heavy and oversized vehicles of the order of travel on roads. It is noted that the event was attended by the leadership of the Ministry of Forestry, representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Industry, the Ministry of Energy, the Belneftekhim concern and other organizations. Participants discussed the procedure for the passage of heavy vehicles and methods of monitoring their compliance. Special attention was paid to the procedure for issuing special permits.

- Recently, a significant number of violations of travel on the roads of heavy and large-sized transport have been recorded. In particular, carriers and shippers do not always apply for special travel permits for the TCV. Drivers independently choose the route, often the mass of cars and axial load do not correspond to the carrying capacity of the roads. The rules for the organization of loading and transportation of goods are violated, Grigory Glazko said.

The transport inspectorate conducts random and comprehensive inspections on an ongoing basis. For owners of heavy and oversized vehicles, a toll is set to compensate for damage to roads.

Special permits are issued by RUE "Beldorcenter" through a single portal of electronic services or the enterprise web system (term - 2 working days). You can also submit an online application to determine the preliminary route and calculate the fare.

The Ministry recalled that the movement of heavy and bulky vehicles without a special permit or in violation of its conditions, as well as deviation from the route is prohibited (Article 18.37 of the Administrative Code). In addition, since June of this year, the administrative liability of shippers for the excess weight of the car has been established.
