In the vicinity of the village of Druzhnaya Gorka in the framework of the regulation of the number of three wolves, one of them last week during amateur and sports hunting. This was reported in the press service of the Committee for the protection, control and regulation of the use of wildlife of the Leningrad region.

Due to the fact that wolves again approached the village of Druzhnaya Gorka in the Gatchina district on November 3, measures were taken to regulate the number of animals in this area. As part of these measures, two individuals were produced in October. Another wolf was killed last week as part of an amateur and sporting hunt.

“Work on the regulation of the predator in the vicinity of pos. Friendly Gorka continues, additional time will be needed to extract the predator, the Committee explained.

Residents were asked to follow a number of important rules: never leave pets unattended, especially in the dark. Dogs tied in open areas can become easy prey for predators.

If you notice a wolf within the village, immediately inform the Committee through a special form on the website. Do not forget to specify the time and place of detection, as well as the names of witnesses and their contact details.
