In Opochka, police arranged a photo shoot to show the importance of reflectors

In the city of Opochka, employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia “Opochetsky” together with parents and children held an unusual photo session. It should clearly show the importance of retroreflective elements. The pictures show that in dark clothes the child is almost invisible on the road, and with reflectors it can be seen from afar. This “MK in Pskov” reported in the press service of the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.

In autumn, when daylight is shortened, it is especially important to take care of pedestrian safety. State traffic inspection reminds: reflectors allow the driver to notice a person at a distance of up to 150 meters, while without them only 25-50 meters. Outside settlements in the dark or with insufficient visibility, their use is mandatory, and in populated areas is recommended.

Police urged parents to take care of the safety of the children and make them visible on the road.
