In Rostov, more than 19 million rubles for rolling stumps and pruning trees

The October district of Rostov is preparing for large-scale work on the care of green spaces. The department of housing and communal services of the district announced a tender for a set of measures for rolling, pruning trees, as well as milling and twisting stumps. The total amount allocated for these purposes exceeds 19.9 million rubles.

Under the terms of the contract, the contractor will work with trees of different diameters, including those with a trunk diameter of more than 120 centimeters. Special attention will be paid to sanitary pruning and removal of sick, emergency or interfering trees. An important part of the work is the complete removal of stumps, which will ensure the safety and aesthetic appearance of streets and courtyards.

The deadlines are very short: all activities must be completed by December 15, 2026. Potential contractors can submit their applications until November 13.

The contractor is subject to strict requirements for compliance with environmental, sanitary and fire safety standards, as well as safety and traffic rules.

Technical aspects are specified in detail, including the use of special equipment for milling stumps to a depth of 40 cm and the prompt disposal of logging residues. Seasonal restrictions have been introduced: at temperatures below -10 degrees, the work on removing stumps is suspended.
