Photographer Sergey Gibkov found near the village of Krasnoyarsk, near the Sukhoi River, a very dangerous plant - a liana called the Kirkazon Lomonosovy. It looks quite beautiful, but in fact very poisonous and can seriously harm human health.
Kirkazon Lomonosovy is a herbaceous liana, reaching a height of about 90 centimeters. She prefers wet habitats. In spring and early summer, from late May to July, the plant is covered with yellow flowers that exude a specific aroma. It attracts insect pollinators, mainly flies. The fruits of Kirkazon are pear-shaped boxes with a length of 5-6 centimeters. They open when ripe, releasing seeds.
Externally, the kirkazon lomonosovy looks harmless and even attractive. Due to its fast-growing nature and decorative nature, the plant is often used for landscaping arches and fences. However, behind this attractive appearance lurks a mortal danger.
All parts of the circason lomonosaur contain poison, which has a toxic effect on the human body. The ingestion of poison can cause severe kidney damage, damage to the mucous membranes and the cardiovascular system.
Due to the high toxicity of kircazone lomonoid, in the Russian Federation since 2008, a ban on the use of biologically active additives (BADs) produced on its basis has been introduced.
