With the onset of autumn cold weather, the water temperature in the reservoirs of the Samara region dropped to critical 7-8 degrees.
Any negligence on a small ship in such extreme conditions instantly turns into a real threat to life. Cold moisture instantly constrains the muscles, and wet heavy clothing rapidly pulls a person to the bottom.
GIMS inspectors of the regional Ministry of Emergencies strongly recommend fishing enthusiasts to refrain from risky outings.
Weather forecasts should be carefully evaluated before navigation, as it is safer to stay on land in high winds. It is strictly forbidden to drink alcohol, and a life jacket should be worn on the body, and not just lie on the bottom of the boat.
Particular attention should be paid to the technical serviceability of the boat and strict control of the permissible load capacity.
In conditions of poor visibility or at dusk, on board must necessarily operate on-board and top navigation lights. Compliance with these basic rules ensures the preservation of health and life in autumn water.
