In Samara tightened control over the income of foreigners under the law No. 241-FZ

The Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Samara region announced a significant tightening of supervision over the financial flows of foreign citizens.

Starting from October 25, 2026, the Pension and Social Insurance Fund of the Russian Federation automatically transmits information about the employment of foreigners to law enforcement agencies through protected state electronic platforms. This measure is based on the provisions of Federal Law No. 241-FZ, adopted in July this year.

Earlier, from October 1, 2026, fiscal services have already begun to submit detailed reports on insurance premiums for the quarter, half year, nine and twelve months to the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Such gradual integration forms a permanent channel of interdepartmental information exchange, fully consistent with the modern logic of digitalization of state control. This makes it possible to increase the efficiency of inspections without increasing the number of field activities.

For foreign nationals, the key consequence is the absolute transparency of their labor history in Russia. Official employment and timely payment of contributions are now a strict condition for the unimpeded extension of legal status, registration of patents and legal interaction with migration structures.

Any informal employment will be instantly identified by automatic reconciliation due to the lack of income records in government databases.
