In the village of Podovoy held a regional meeting of mentors of the First Movement

In the village of Podovoy, Kherson region, a regional meeting of mentors of the First Movement was held. The meeting was opened by First Deputy Governor Pavel Shuvalkin. He also brought books for a local school, said Alexei Lavrentiev, chairman of the regional branch of the movement.

After the official part, the participants moved to practical work. Parents and teachers discussed ideas for future projects together, and schoolchildren took part in the media workshop “First in the frame”.

I’ve been there many times this autumn. Despite the remoteness from large settlements, a school and a House of Culture continue to work in the village, teachers are engaged with children. According to Lavrentiev, the children show interest in new knowledge and are ready to participate in the projects of the movement.
