In the school of the village of Haruta, a class hour “Profession to Protect” was held, dedicated to the Day of Remembrance of Internal Affairs Officers who died in the line of duty.
The students talked about the price that people pay in pursuit of the peace of citizens, analyzed the concepts of “courage” and “self-sacrifice”, discussed that heroes are not born – they become at the moment when you need to make a choice between yourself and others.
Participants remembered the names of employees who gave their lives defending the law and citizens, and a minute of silence honored their memory.
We also talked about how important and dangerous police work is and why it is important to respect the law.
