In Shumilino began work a new automatic meteorological station

In the urban village of Shumilino, a new automatic meteorological station began to work. This sb.by reported in Belhydromet.

- The opening of the station is part of the implementation of the State Investment Program to expand the network of hydrometeorological observations in the Republic of Belarus. The station allows real-time recording of air temperature and humidity, atmospheric pressure, wind characteristics and precipitation.

The introduction of modern equipment at the facility will improve the quality of meteorological forecasts, increase the early detection of adverse and dangerous hydrometeorological phenomena, as well as minimize possible risks and material damage to the population and organizations of the region.
