In Sochi opened Orthodox courses for Cossacks and pupils of the military-patriotic club

In Sochi, a series of classes on the basics of Orthodoxy was organized for Cossacks of the Central District Cossack Society and pupils of the military-patriotic club Svyatogorets. The training takes place with the blessing of the spiritual mentor of the Cossacks, Father Alexander Tatarinov.

Organizational issues of preparation of the course were taken over by the Cossack of the farm Cossack society “Navaginskoye” Sergey Gubin. Not only representatives of the Cossack society, but also young participants of the club joined the classes, which was a pleasant surprise for the organizers.

The program is designed for 27 classes. Conversations will be held regularly at the headquarters of the Central District Cossack Society before the Easter holiday.

Before the beginning of the first lesson, Father Alexander performed a prayer service, sprinkled the room with holy water and blessed the participants. The priest expressed hope that over time new students will join the courses.

The organizers hope that the training will help participants to get more acquainted with the basics of the Orthodox faith and church traditions. Anyone who wants to attend classes can attend.

Sochi Marathon will bring together participants from 477 cities.
