In Syktyvkar, two night establishments were forbidden to work until the morning
Now they can not receive visitors from 22:00 to 9:00.
In Syktyvkar, the decision to limit the night work of the restaurant-club "USSR" and the karaoke lounge "Pravda Bar" came into force. The Komi Supreme Court confirmed that establishments cannot receive visitors from 22:00 to 9:00 on weekends and holidays, and on weekdays they must stop working until 7:00.
The reason for the trial were complaints from residents of nearby houses. People repeatedly reported loud music, noise and fights that prevented them from resting at night. According to police, from January 2022 to April 2025, there were 519 reports of incidents in and around establishments. In 2026, another 39 applications were registered.
The city administration sought restrictions to protect the interests of local residents. The court supported this position, stressing that the activities of entertainment facilities should not interfere with others and violate their right to silence.
