Ministry of Labor: Unified tariff and qualification directory for workers in the energy industry has been updated

Resolution of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of August 12, 2026 No. 62 in the new edition approved the issue of 9 Unified tariff and qualification directory of works and professions of workers - the document enters into force on November 28. This sb.by reported in the press service of the Ministry of labor and social protection.

The press service said:

- The directory consists of sections “Operation of equipment of power plants and networks, service of energy consumers”, “Repair of equipment of power plants and networks” and “Operation and repair of equipment of nuclear power plants”. Resolution No. 62 updated the content of works and basic labor functions of workers in connection with the automation of production processes, the introduction of new equipment and technologies, brought the terminology in line with legislation, local legal acts, taking into account the proposals of the Ministry of Energy.

In addition, the new edition sets out the tariff and qualification characteristics of the professions of workers: an apparatchik of chemical water treatment of power plants of 4-6 categories, a senior driver of power units of 8 category, an electrician for servicing electrical equipment of power plants of 4-7 categories (charging is specified depending on the complexity of the serviced equipment) (1 section), an electrician for repairing relay protection equipment and automation of 3-7 categories (2 section), an operator of an automated radiation control system of 6 category, an operator of transport and technological equipment of a reactor department of 8 category (3 section).

For the professions of workers associated with the performance of emergency work, the terms “accident” and “incident” are defined and used in the sections “Characteristics of work” and “Must know” according to the Law “On Industrial Safety”.

- Taking into account the updating of the issue of 9 CTC organizations, regardless of the form of ownership, it is necessary to analyze the composition of work on the relevant occupations of workers contained in the staffing tables, as well as their tariffification (categories), knowledge requirements and make appropriate changes to working instructions and other local legal acts, the ministry said.
