In the Tambov district forehead faced foreign cars

On September 21 in the evening, at about 18:02, a serious accident occurred on the 1st kilometer of the Tambov-Kotovsk-Starchik-Karian Strogonovo-Sampur highway.

According to preliminary data, the 40-year-old driver of the Volkswagen Polo car for an unknown reason left for the oncoming traffic lane. It happened on a stretch of road that is characterized as a "curve in plan" - that is, with a turn. There, a foreign car collided with a Hyundai Creta car, which was driven by a 72-year-old man.

As a result of the collision, two people were injured: the driver of the Volkswagen and the 73-year-old passenger of the Hyundai. Both victims were taken to a medical facility by ambulance.

Police officers are working at the scene. All the circumstances and causes of the incident are clarified.
