In the Ulyanovsk region, measures to ensure the stable operation of agricultural enterprises were discussed. Particular attention was paid to the safety of workers, fuel supplies and equipment preparation for the cold.
The issues were considered on November 5 at a federal meeting led by the First Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Denis Manturov. The discussion was also attended by Deputy Prime Ministers Alexander Novak and Dmitry Patrushev.
The Ulyanovsk region was represented by the Chairman of the regional government Gennady Spirchagov, Deputy Governor Vladimir Razumkov, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and heads of relevant departments.
The meeting participants noted that for the smooth operation of the agro-industrial complex, it is necessary to provide enterprises with seeds, fertilizers, feed, veterinary drugs and fuel.
In addition, it is important to create reserves in advance, look for reserve suppliers and provide additional sources of electricity.
Special attention was paid to preparing for winter. Businesses need to monitor the condition of boiler equipment and the serviceability of heating systems.
