In the Ulyanovsk region in 2027 will modernize two children’s camps

In the Ulyanovsk region in 2027, it is planned to update two children's health facilities with the support of the federal budget. In the camp "Swallow" of the Old Mainsky district, a new residential building will be built, and in the suburban campus of the center "Scarlet Sails" of the Cherdaklinsky district, a food block and a dining room will be overhauled.

One of the objects of modernization will be the summer sports and recreation camp "Swallow", located in the village of Sadovka, Staromainsky district. A modern building will be built on its territory, designed to accommodate 48 children simultaneously.

Thanks to the expansion of infrastructure, the institution will be able to receive almost 200 more pupils during the summer season than it is now.

The camp specializes in organizing sports shifts. Every year, students of sports schools come here, who continue training during the summer holidays. Pupils are engaged in martial arts, gymnastics, volleyball and other sports.

At the same time, “Swallow” has been working for more than half a century. During this time, large-scale modernization of the institution was not carried out. The first changes began in 2026: now the shower complex is being repaired here. The construction of the new building will be the next stage of updating the camp infrastructure.

Another object included in the plans for 2027 is the country campus of the regional center for identifying and supporting gifted children “Scarlet Sails”. It is located in the village of Krestovo-City of Cherdaklinsky district.

There is a major overhaul of the dining room and dining room. The work should improve the conditions of catering for schoolchildren coming to educational shifts.

The campus welcomes more than four thousand children every year. They organize thematic programs dedicated to science, sports, journalism and media, creativity, as well as information technologies.

The Scarlet Sails Center has been operating for five years. During this time, it has become a platform that unites talented schoolchildren from different municipalities of the Ulyanovsk region and helps them develop their abilities in selected areas.

Renovation of children's camps in the region is not the first year. Over the past three years, thanks to participation in the federal program, four new buildings were built and put into operation in health facilities “Youth”, “Ogonyok” and the Deev camp.

The expansion of infrastructure allowed to take on vacation two thousand more children every year.

The regional authorities intend to continue their participation in the federal program. For this purpose, the task is set to annually prepare new applications for financing the construction and repair of children's recreation facilities.
