In Voronezh inspector DPS fined 800 thousand rubles for a bribe

In Voronezh, a 26-year-old DPS employee was found guilty of taking a bribe. The court imposed a fine of 800 thousand rubles and for three years banned him from holding positions in the civil service in law enforcement agencies related to the performance of the functions of a representative of power. This was reported in the press service of the SU IC in the Voronezh region.

According to the investigation, the inspector accepted illegal remuneration from the head of one of the construction projects. For money, the policeman did not issue administrative materials on the fact of the absence of warning signs and traffic patterns at the site of work. This happened in May 2026 in the Kominternovsky district of Voronezh.

The man was found guilty under Part 3 of Art. 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation - receiving a bribe by an official for illegal actions. The article provides for up to eight years of imprisonment.
