In the Yaroslavl region extended the program of “garage amnesty” until 2031
Residents of Yaroslavl region will be able to use the “garage amnesty” for another five years

Residents of the Yaroslavl region will be able to use the “garage amnesty” for another five years. The program is extended until September 1, 2031. It was previously assumed that it would end on September 1, 2026. The extension is established by federal law and applies to the whole of Russia.
The program allows citizens to obtain free ownership of land under the garage, which is located on state or municipal land. This opportunity can be used by owners of garages built before December 30, 2004 - the date of enactment of the Town Planning Code of the Russian Federation.
The rules apply to both detached garages and objects located as part of a single garage complex. This was reported by the Minister of property relations of the Yaroslavl region Elena Ermolova.
On October 26, the Yaroslavl Regional Duma Committee on Economic Policy, Investments, Industry and Entrepreneurship supported a new law defining the list of documents for land registration under the program. According to the Minister, the list of necessary confirmations remained the same as before.
To confirm the right, it is enough to provide one of the provided documents. Among them is a certificate of the garage cooperative on payment of membership fees before December 30, 2004, a membership book issued before this date, or a decision on preliminary approval of the location of the garage with the approved act of selection of the site.
Also suitable is a building permit or construction and installation work, a document on the commissioning of the garage or the act of acceptance of the completed object, a decision to assign an address to the garage or a court decision that has entered into force confirming that the garage was built before the set date.
