In Justin district of Kalmykia will build a seven-meter statue of Buddha Shakyamuni

In the village of Tsagan-Aman, located in the Justinsky district of Kalmykia, a project is being implemented to create a seven-meter statue of Buddha Shakyamuni. Construction is carried out on public donations and thanks to the initiative of residents of the district center.

To date, a model of the future statue has been made, and clay has already been delivered to the construction site. Special attention is paid to the preparation of the foundation: the territory of the former water tower was fortified, lighting was carried out and 390 tons of soil were filled.

The next stage of work will begin in the spring of 2027. The organizers invite everyone to join the good cause and support the project.
